Eunmi Kim was born in Daegu, South Korea. She has shown her talent in music from when she was little and amongst all her favourite was the flute. From as early as 10 she has started her musical career. She was a leader of the flute part in primary school's wind orchestra, and also the first-chair flutist for the youth orchestra of Daegu. She has always dreamed of becoming a musician. This impressionable young musician has grown up into a music profession who is rich in sensitivity with various classical and popular music background.

After graduating from Catholic University of Daegu, she continued to pursue her passion for music. And soon enough she found her love for jazz along with other genres of music. Given her passion and her talents she was accepted at Berklee College Of Music in Boston on a scholarship. Moreover, she was placed on the dean’s list during her time at Berklee. She performed at various events such as in the contemporary Writing and Production Major Session and in the musical [The 25th Annual Putnam Country 'Spelling Bee’] as a flutist.

She moved back to South Korea and became a member in Apple Jazz Orchestra. And she has been working with a number of well known singers and musicians in Seoul, and performing on many different broadcast media and numerous recording sessions. Her latest achievement is being selected as Rising Star of the year for the [Jazz People] magazine in 2014 and released the album [Gypsy Moods] of a gypsy band called La Vie Est Belle, recorded as a leader/flutist. Apart from flute, she plays piccolo, clarinet and saxophone. Furthermore she has released the first album of her own, title [A THROBBING HEART] in 2016. This album is produced, composed all by herself.

Also she released by her first album as a singer-songwriter, ‘The night air of Seoul’ on Dec. 26th, 2019. Consisting of five songs including an instrumental track, the album is filled with a sentimental and tender heart and comforting lyrics. In a calm tone, Kukhee sings her genuine melodies with deep emotions so naturally, hoping to provide some warmth to the listeners through this album.

She is expanding her activities in music career and is currently on the process of releasing her next album. Stay tuned!
