Hello guys,

Did you guys play O Holy Night well? I am curious.

I'm so happy to see you again. Christmas preparation seems to make me move Haha. I'm in a hurry because I have to do all the songs that I made before the Christmas is over. I don't know if I can show you all of them though.

I'll try it first. I'll try it! If I can't, next year? ! Christmas is coming again. Haha.

0:00 Pno Version

2:07 Pno+E.P Version

4:13 Pno+String Version

6:18 Pno+String+E.P Version

When I was preparing this song, the most what I worried was the lyrics. How come there are so many different versions of the lyrics? After so much thought... I decided on the most unfamiliar hymn version. I feel like if I don't sing the hymn lyrics, no one will sing it. You can sing the lyrics that you're familiar with.

Let's take a look at the parts about performance and record. As you know, this song is written in 12/8 beats, but it is written in 4/4 beats in the hymn. 4/4 beats, the song looks neat and easy because it's marked as a dotted. I think it was a good choice. But you know I have to play shuffle, right? He wrote down a hint about the direction of the play in the intro. 12/8 is difficult, and even if it's 4/4 beats, it's a lot of pressure from the point of view of singing the three notes.

You choose a very simple sign, but you only need to hold the player's mind, which means from the perspective of a performer, it's hard. So the score you played continues with three notes. I arranged it without difficulty. When you get used to the song, you'll be able to follow it soon.

The other thing I'm worried about is... I don't know when the song will start. It's about how long you're going to drag it. If you look at the beginning of "Holy Night," it starts with a six-beats intro in hymns, and it starts with a two-beats intro and a complete bar that doesn't fit from the third. I don't know if I'm gonna do this. I wasn't sure if I'd start with a complete bar starting from the first beat. In conclusion, I chose the beginning of the complete bar, but the intro was five bar. Also, I'm worried about how many bars to count "night" in "The Night of the Lord Jesus."

Should I count to six bars or four bars? If you sing a hymn, I can see that it's going to be a big hit here. The players will follow the notes, the congregation will follow the familiar... Phew...

I can't help but sighing, right?

How did I do it? I went for familiarity. The rhythm of the hymns is so hard and weird.

I debate to myself a lot when I make music and play it. What about you guys? I hope this hard-working sheet music can be used worthily. Be the accompanists of heaven~ :)
